At its top there is a bird view of the surrounding mountains and the Nine-Bend Stream.

It is said that this palace was one of the top 6 famous Taoist temples in the Song dynasty and generations of emperors worshipped the respectable Wuyijun here. Was built between 742 AD and 755 AD and has been rebuilt several times. The newly built palace with the remaining ancient tree of about 900 years old from the Song dynasty. In Wuyi Palace there is the Spring and Autumn Museum, that shows the culture of Wuyi Mountain, including the suspended coffins. There is also Song Street, which is an imitating street with Song style buildings, restaurants, shops and Wuyi Mountain Museum with the history of Wuyi.

It is at the end of a hiking way to the top of the mountain, from where you can see a magnificent panorama of the lush mountains. They said is a magical place in Wuyi Mountain because you can hear the wind roaring like a tiger while it is going through the cave on the rock.

A great place to admire this peak is from the Nine-Bend Steam, that pass by just at the foot of Jade Girl Peak, and where you can find a seal stone. Legend has that the seal stone was a token of love given by the Great King to Maiden.
